DENTAL EXAM. The first visit to the dentist is essential to pacient-doctor collaboration. We are in touch with your problems and intend that the results meet your standards and expectations. The exam consists of evaluating the dental status, setting the treatment stages and estimating the cost of each procedure. Our goal is to identify the perfect treatement for you in terms of therapy, time and costs.

DENTAL IMPLANTS. The evolution of dental medicine made it possible to maintain the features and functionality of the dental-maxillary apparatus with the help of implants. They replace unsalvageable teeth (teeth lost in traumas or to parodontal disease, unsuccessfull root canal treatments) and give those pacients who lost their teeth the chance to benefit from a reliable and stable dental work. The implants’ history starts with a polished ivory tooth, similar to the missing one, and ends nowadays with the cone/cylinder shaped tooth made by titanium/zirconium. These ones are biocompatible with the tissue they are inserted in. We encourage you to ask for all the information you need in this respect.

SURGERY. Treatements in this section include dental interventions on theeth where dental restaurations are not the best solution.The following surgical interventions are performed in our practice: dental implants, extractions, dental hemisection, cystectomy, apicoectomy, parodontal surgery and preparation for prothetic and orthodontic treatments. Our equipment and the training of our medical personnel are consistent with the lastest requirements in this field.

PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY. This section of the dental practice concerns the little patients’ care. Gentleness and patience help children build up trust when they meet the doctor for the first time or have had traumatising experiences in the past. We perform a great variety of treatments, considering children’s teething (temporary, mixt or permanent).

COSMETICS. Smile every day! If you are unhappy with the colour of your teeth, try the whitening treatment. In our facility or at home the whitening process uses different concetration of hydrogen peroxide. Some colorations, such as nicotine stains, can be removed, but that is not the case for those resulted from the teeth mineralization process (fluorosis, extended tetracycline treatment). PROPHYLAXIS. You can prevent tooth decay in noninvasive ways like scaling and polishing. We can determine how efficient is your brushing by plaque revelators and in case of unappropriate hygiene, we’ll explain the right way of brushing your teeth. In order to prevent cavities we can perform topical or tray fluorisations and sealing of the teeth with risk of decay. By using bruxism trays we prevent enamel abrasion,  we protect the temporal-mandibular articulation and we help the relaxation of the muscles overstrained by dental friction.

RESTORATIVE THERAPY. The cavity treatment consists of removing the infiltrated tissue, followed by the hygienisation of the cavity and the reconstruction with filling material. Incipient stages imply a minimal loss of the hard dental substance. In advanced stages the objective is to protect the tooth’s vitality. All these procedures are performed under local anesthesia.

ENDODONTICS. The root-canal treatment consists of removing its content and filling it in order to finalize a treatement that can extend over several sessions, depending on the initial diagnosis. For encreased accurancy in detemining the extent of the work , we use the Apex Locator Device.

PROSTHETICS. This type of treatment regards pacients who lost their teeth (one or more) or teeth with large cavities that can not be repaired with fillings. Crowns or bridges, fully or partially physionomical, overdentures on implants,  inlay, onlay, mobile acrylic dentures and metal framework partial removable dentures.

PARODONTOLOGY. The parodontal tissue that anchors teeth onto the bone, is the one that is affected by the parodontal disease. The main cause is the aggressive microbian flora (plaque), followed by tartar, smoking, unappropriate hygiene, defective works, vicious habits. The patient’s diet and medical treatments also contribute to the evolution of this disease. Do not neglect these aspects of your health and follow your doctor’s advice by getting regular consults.
